This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes the manner in which Clayton Christensen handles personal information collected in connection with its public web site, www.claytonchristensen.com (the “Web site”). This Policy has been established to protect the content of the Web site, including all information provided by users of the Web site, from unauthorized access, disclosure, or release. In this Policy, the term “personal information” means information that identifies, or can be used to identify, an individual.

Information Collection
Clayton Christensen is the sole owner of the information on the Web site and collected on the Web site.

Profiles
Clayton Christensen does not create or maintain profiles of visitors to the Web site.

Clayton Christensen may elect to generate “cookies.” A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. The cookie, and the information inside, is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information. We may use session ID cookies and/or persistent cookies. For the session ID cookie, once users close the browser, the cookie simply terminates. Log Files
Like most standard web servers we use log files and outside services to collect usage information.  No personally identifiable information is collected in this process.  This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. Our objective is to monitor the quality of the user experiences on the Web site. IP addresses, and other log information, are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Communications from the Site
The only communications resulting from the Web site are responses to visitor requests for additional information. Communications may be via phone, email, or postal mail in accordance with the visitor’s preferences.

Information Use
Clayton Christensen will not sell, share, or rent collected information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement.

Personally Identifiable Information
Personally identifiable information provided voluntarily by a site visitor may include name, company, address, phone, email, and other information gathered by electronic mail from visitors wishing to be contacted with additional information. To respond to the visitor’s request, this information may be shared with employees, partners, and subcontractors of Clayton Christensen.
